Negative Calorie Foods
Negative calorie foods are foods that require your body to burn more calories through the digestion process, than the amount of calories for which the food actually contains. The calories from these foods are complex and difficult for your body to breakdown, process and put to use. Therefore your body has to work very hard to extract the essential nutrients from these foods, which provides these negative calorie foods with a tremendous natural fat-burning element or what many refer to as the "negative calorie effect" or "thermic effect".
Examples of Negative Calorie Foods:
Vegetables - Asparagus, Broccoli, Carrots, Cauliflower, Celery, Cucumber, Green Beans, Lettuce, Spinach
Fruits - Apple's, Berries, Cantaloupe, Grapefruit, Orange's, Pineapple, Peach, Tomato's, Watermelon
Consuming negative calorie foods are great way to get your body metabolizing and on your way to losing that unwanted body fat. These foods make for excellent snack substitutes or even add them on as a proper side dish to any meal. So stock up on plenty of negative calorie foods today to capture that "thermic effect"!
